Happy 6 Months!

It can't be true... I have a half year old baby! Oh my goodness, time flies!

This has got me in a whirlwind: shocked at how fast the time goes, amazed at how much you've changed since we met you that September morning, proud to be your Mommy, and {secretly} excited to start thinking about your first birthday party!

Mommy got an iPhone this past month, so has been taking much more pictures of your precious face. All pictures on this post were taken with my iPhone. ;)

You are now Mr. Personality. You are talking ALL the time --- cracking us up at church as you coo and talk in the middle of the messages and songs. You have to have your little hands on something at ALL times --- including the remote; Daddy's bible; and Mommy's hair. You HAVE to be able to see what's going on at all times. You are so social and friendly, we love that about you!

You are trying SO hard to crawl, but bless your heart, you're not quite there yet and you get SO frustrated! You are also trying so hard to sit up, but usually topple over before quite mastering it. You'll get it, little man! You definitely have your Mommy's determination!

You are more on a schedule now -- sleeping through the night MOST nights and eating at the same times each day. You are teething - and some nights this makes it hard on you to sleep. It's OK - extra cuddle time!

You eat one small container of baby food each day. So far you've tried carrots {which we think you are allergic to}, bananas, and squash. You are a MESSY eater but we are having fun feeding you each night!

You have such a happy disposition! You are so sweet and smiley all the time, unless you need something! You LOVE to giggle and play and roll all over the place. We LOVE playing with you, little man!

You love music, Handy Manny on TV, and your Baby Einstein books. You love changing clothes and think it's the funniest thing ever! You were a size 3 diaper and anywhere from 6 month to 12 month {yup, you read that right!} clothing. You are a big boy!

You have brought so much joy to our lives, little man! Some nights we just stare at you in awe of the miracle God gave us! We are so blessed to be your parents.

A lot of changes lie ahead for our entire family -- we are excited for them and hope you know every decision we make, is all for you now, Kent! You are our world and we couldn't love you anymore if we tried.

Love always, Mommy
