IT'S A BOY!

Introducing...
Kent Michael Stewart!!!

Had my 20 week appointment today and discovered that our little one is a boy! We are so excited to have a name and a face now... makes everything SO real!

The ultrasound was amazing. I could see my little one's heart beating, could see him moving, saw all of his little parts. I even teared up with a huge smile on my face.

The tech said everything looks good, he is measuring exactly at 20 weeks and all of his parts (head, abdomen, heart, bones) are the correct size. I met with the doctor very briefly and he said everything looks good with me, my belly growth is good and my weight gain is exactly what it should be. (Sigh of relief here - I get worried at times that I'm eating TOO much for two!) He pressed on my belly and said, "Yep! The head's right here." WOW! I see him again in June.

Pregnancy highlights:

How Far Along: 20 weeks, 3 days

Total Weight Gain/Loss: 9 pounds

Maternity Clothes: maternity band, some maternity shirts

Moment this week: SEEING my baby for the first time! Finding out that it's a BOY!!

Gender: BOY!!! :) Kent Michael

Movement: almost daily now, little flutters and such

Food Craving: spicy food!

What I miss: Sleeping on my belly and/or back

Sleep: as long as I am surrounded by pillows, I am good

What I am looking forward to: feeling the kicks that I can share with Chad / decorating and choosing the nursery stuff!

Belly Button: no change

Symptoms: big appetite, feeling movement
