I found this cute blog yesterday and she also does something fun on Fridays, the Friday Five. Even though it's Saturday morning, I still can participate, right? :)
5 Favorite Snacks

1) Chips and Salsa
These are my weakness. No matter what, I can always eat these... and love them. Mmm...



2) Yogurt with Fruit & Granola
The Special K Granola is a new favorite. It has a touch of honey and tastes so fresh, like homemade granola. I love it with any flavor yogurt (although vanilla is the best) and strawberries and bananas. Drizzle some honey on top and it's heaven!

3) Smoothies
Another new addiction, well since I got a wonderful blender for Christmas. Smoothies are a great way for me to sneak in a serving of fruit and get a serving of milk (I never drink milk alone - yuck!) which is great for the little one. They take like, 1 minute flat to make and the creations you can come up with are endless...

4) Spinach Dip
I think this is more of a pregnancy craving lately, but I have always loved spinach dip. I ate a lot of it when I recovered from my surgery in 2007 because the extra iron helped me heal, but now I just crave it. I have the best recipe for this dip and it's one of the few recipes I use EVERY single time I make something without any changes.

5) Hummus Wrap
I admit, I don't 'snack' on this often. This more goes along in the 'Best Thing I Ever Ate' category. (Anyone watch that show on the Food Network?) I had one of these at Whole Foods when I lived in Dallas and it was so tasty that I've tried to recreate it at home. It's always good when I make it, but never quite tops the Whole Foods version... sigh. :)
Note: that picture is not of the exact wrap from Whole Foods, but the closest I could find. They use a yummy spinach tortilla.
