Thankful...

Last year, I did a post a day for each thing I was thankful for the entire month of November. This year, I haven't had as much time with a busy toddler, but I do want to remember to be grateful for all the blessings in my life...

I'm thankful for...

...an amazing family! I love my precious son more than words can say, and I honestly love my husband more each day. He is an AMAZING father and truly my best friend. I am so blessed! How precious is this picture of them at the zoo together?



...new beginnings! I am so glad we started over back in the DFW area. We missed it so much and being back near family is so comforting!

...the seasons! We are LOVING making sure Kent gets to soak in the joys of each and every season! We LOVED the pumpkin patch/boo at the zoo, and have LOTS of plans for these holiday months for the little man!



...our "new" church: it took us quite awhile to find a place that felt like "home". I really loved The Village and wanted to stay with it, but Chad didn't feel 100% comfortable there. We kept praying about it and going back and forth, but finally decided Elevate Life would become our home church. We'd been there many times (it's Chad's Dad's church) and liked it, but I never quite felt comfortable. One week I felt God was calling us to go back and give it another try, and we did, and haven't turned back since! It finally feels like home, and we join "officially" on December 3rd! Can't wait to serve!

...my job: Pre-K has definitely been an adjustment from 3rd Grade, but I honestly love my 19 precious kiddos with all of my heart. They are so excited and wide-eyed about everything, and that excitement makes the job worth it! Love that I can take Kent with me to work everyday too!

...Chad's job: Chad FINALLY got moved to the perfect store for him, doing the position he really wanted. He is FINALLY happy to go to work again AND we get to see him at night! It's a win-win!
