Poor Kent had diarrhea two days in a row, so we called his pediatrician and he wanted to see him. We brought him to the doctor that morning; and thankfully everything looks OK. We have been on a new formula that he was still adjusting to and so we're hoping the problem will clear itself up.
We did find out that Kent now weighs 14 pounds 1 ounce!! We took him to the doctor almost a week ago and he was only 12 pounds 12 ounces! My boy must've been sneaking Christmas cookies. ;)
After the visit to the doctor, we had some Christmas money to spend so decided to do a little shopping. I had my Starbucks fix: an iced grande nonfat caramel macchiato... :) I left the empty cup in the stroller cup holder as we went about our business. I looked away to look at a pair of {ridiculously expensive!} Ugg's, and Kent started to cry.
Chad immediately looked into the stroller without thinking, and literally poked his eye with the green Starbucks straw! His eye was immediately all bloody inside and really scary looking. By this point, our family doctor was closed, so we took him to an Urgent Care doc.
He had a ruptured blood vessel in his eye! All from a straw! Scary. He has to take antibiotic eye drops, poor guy. It already looks better. Way to begin the New Year!! :)
So, it was a very exciting day yesterday.
In other news, I got a brand new Canon printer and the Pioneer Woman cookbook, which I am very excited about. lol
