Fall is here! I wish we had colder weather, but I love that November is right around the corner, even though it means going back to work soon. Having a baby makes the holidays especially exciting. :)
Our family of 3 before my check-up
I had my 6 week check-up yesterday. Everything looked great, and my doctor gave me the clear to get back to normal. He joked that I could go back throwing the javelin now, but to take it slowly. I really will miss seeing him weekly, as weird as that sounds! He has been one of the best doctors I've ever had. As he left the room he told me I was a great patient and he enjoyed working with me.
So after the check-up, Chad, Kent, and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings. Kent was so good the entire time. Afterwards we went to Babies R' Us - which can I say, I now love as a new mommy because they have a Mother's Room that is perfect for feeding / changing, especially when you drive an hour. It's now our stop whenever we go out. We bought the bumper there for Kent's crib, which we are going to try to start transitioning him in soon.... whenever I get the Mommy guts to.... lol
After that, we headed home and stopped at that consignment shop again on the way. They were even having a sale, all of the items were 15% off, and anything that was 99 cents was cut to 50 cents! I bought Kent some of the cutest stuff, Old Navy/Baby Gap/etc brands, about 6 outfits for 8 bucks with tax! Can't beat it, I'll get pictures up soon.
Today's been a relaxing day at home. I am soaking in every moment I can with my cuddly little man.

Why do you hate democrats so much? Let's a find a balance first, and then start blaming each other. And don't say war is the answer.
Dear Moderator, I hope you don't delete my post. I mean no harm, just being weird.
There was a story about this in our newspaper. People come to steal other people's content from blogs and then publish on their own sites.
I live in a basement, with my parents. Typical stereotype - an overweight looser. Please don't remove my comments.
