Party Time!

Wow, from my birthday until now time has been going in a flash! We have been so busy, but I love it.

On my birthday (the 3rd), Chad had to work until 8pm, which was disappointing but I understood. Plus, when we came home, he came with this:

... yum! and also a few gifts, including a rug from Kirkland's I'd been wanting, and a gift card to Bath & Body Works so I could go shop and relax. :)

That night, the park really close to our house was showing fireworks, so all we had to do was step out our front door to see this: (sorry, I'm not a great photographer! ha!)

The next morning, my parents arrived early and we exchanged presents with my mom. We visited them for awhile and showed them the nursery. Then we all went to Chili's for lunch and after that, to play mini-golf. Unfortunately I have no pictures of this, as I was a sweaty hot preggo mess... and then it started raining... so straightening my hair that morning had been pointless, it turned into a curly wavy mess and we just put the camera in the car and focused on having fun. :)

After that my parents headed back to their hotel and then off to look at houses for when they move nearby here.

The next day Chad and I enjoyed some couple time... he grilled out some burgers & corn on the cob, and then we watched 'The Proposal' on our Netflix which was actually WAY better than I thought it would be. I have a serious crush on Ryan Reynolds so that helped! lol

Today we had to wake up SUPER early because I had to fast for some blood work done at the doctor's office today. Afterwards, I was STARVING, so we went to Cracker Barrel.... where we sat for 45 minutes and never got food. :( We finally decided to leave and went to Wendy's instead. Wasn't quite the same, but by then I was so hungry I didn't care!

I used some birthday gift cards (got the CUTEST rug for Kent's nursery!) and we ran some other errands. This afternoon I did some much needed grocery shopping and now needless to say....

I am beat!

Third trimester is a bit exhausting, much like the first one was. I'm actually taking naps again and falling asleep in the car frequently which I never did pre-pregnancy. My dreams are getting a little silly crazy, but it's more real that my little man is on his way. :) We can't wait to officially meet him! We love you already, Kent!
