Cravings

The past few days were busy and fun. Chad was off so we spent a lot of time out and about, shopping, walking, running errands, seeing movies, etc. He had really been wanting to see 'A-TEAM' since it came out, and I was not as excited. He basically dragged me into the movie theater, and I have to say - I ended up LOVING the movie. It was funny, action-packed, and had a really good storyline. We had fun. :)


One of my friends and I were talking on the phone today and she asked me if I had any new cravings, which got me thinking about my cravings in general which are...


  • Anything spicy -- I've always liked spicy stuff before, but now that love for it is amplified!

  • A new craving is peanut butter, which I don't normally eat a lot of. I love it with honey. Mmm...

  • But the biggest craving I have had all along is for buffalo sauce! Buffalo wings, wraps, sandwiches, etc... can't get enough. Today, I took that craving and decided to try this:




    Buffalo Chicken Pizza


    I even modified the recipe to make it healthier so I could justify it more. ;) It was SOOO good, I had to share it here:


    INGREDIENTS
    1 (Mama Mary's) whole wheat pizza crust
    1/3 cup (Hidden Valley Light) ranch dressing
    4 tbsp (Smart Balance) butter, melted
    1/4 cup (Frank's) hot sauce
    6 ounces (Oscar Meyer) pre-cooked chicken
    1 3/4 cup (Kraft 2% Milk) light mozzarella cheese


    DIRECTIONS
    Heat oven to 400 degrees.
    Spread ranch over pizza crust.
    Mix butter and sauce, then toss with chicken.
    Put chicken mixture over ranch.
    Top with mozzarella cheese.
    Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes.
    ENJOY!


    Sooooo good. Hope you all like it as much as this preggo does. ;) Chad jokes that Kent will come out of me with a bottle of hot sauce in hand! HA!


    Also, next week I begin my third trimester!
