Saturday Randomness

So today starts my summer! Woohoo! I began the morning with breakfast with all the teachers at a local restaurant, and then checked off a few to-do things in my classroom. I am moving rooms so next week starts the project of getting all of that decorated and ready before I get too pregnant to even want to do it!

I'm really excited because the new classroom is a LOT bigger than my old room and has tons of storage space. Also, the other teacher left up pretty red paper so I think I'm going to go with a red and zebra print theme this year. :) I was so inspired I began a little craft project... a sign to hang up on my door:

I spent the afternoon running errands... looked for maternity clothes - tank tops and sundresses now that summer's here and I can wear that stuff more. Bought one tank top today... tried on a few cute dresses but couldn't decide on one. Argh! :)

Also, tried to take another belly picture. Chad's never around to take these things when I feel like actually taking them. I feel so big and I'm only halfway there - yikes! Anyway, here it is, me at 23 Weeks:

I am feeling the baby move a lot more. I am having some trouble sleeping at night because I can't get comfortable or in last night's case, was thinking about all the stuff I need to do before Kent gets here...

BUT I love being pregnant! Chad and I were discussing the other night how blessed we are... thankful to God for answering our prayers so quickly when we decided we were ready to become parents...

I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him.

- Samuel 1:27

So, summer plans. Here are the things I would LIKE to accomplish, although these are just goals - not a real to-do list. ;)

  • Finish decorating / setting up new classroom

  • Begin, work on, AND finish the nursery - the BIG summer project!

  • Redecorate our bedroom

  • Actually make dinner at least 3 nights a week, preferably the 3 Chad is off so we can enjoy home cooked meals together

  • READ books! Not 3rd Grade books... I have to catch up on Nicholas Sparks' novels and finish The Time Traveler's Wife

  • Begin a scrapbook of the pregnancy/for Kent's first year

Going to be a busy summer, but so glad it's here!
