So funny Kent story. :) As a school field trip, we were walking to the park the other day. Our principal insisted that myself and my pregnant friend / coworker ride in a car instead, so we were doing that as well as stopping and directing traffic.
We got one class safely across the busy street, and all was well. We direct the cars to go ahead. All of a sudden I look, and to my horror see one boy seperated from his group bolt out in front of a car. I ran back out and held my hands up to say "Stop!" The car finally stopped just in the nick of time and we got the boy safely across the street. (Thank you Lord!)
I sat back down in the car we were in, and all of a sudden Kent started kicking me like crazy - the hardest and most kicks he's done so far, as if to say "MOM!!! Don't you ever do that to me again!" :)
Speaking of kicking, he has been doing that a LOT lately. Almost every night! I'm so anxious for Chad to be able to feel it, but so far no luck with that. Books and doctor say around 6 1/2 months, he'll be able to feel it on my stomach. It's so exciting!
Everything else is going well - I have lots of energy and feel great. Getting anxious to get his nursery done this summer and of course see his little face in person! Soon and very soon. :)
