16 Weeks - The "Bump" Starts
I tried to take a belly pic, but it's hard to see when you try to take belly pictures of yourself, but hubby was working. =) He said he'll take the next one. But there is definitely a little bump forming! The doctor says my intestines have moved upward so that tummy part is all baby! Exciting!
I've been going back and forth with when to tell my students. It was a rough week this week, so the timing never felt quite right. I talked with a friend about it, and she suggested after TAKS - which I think is perfect. I will probably have more of a bump by then, but a week later will have a sonogram to show them and everything. Plus, we'll have time to be a little more random than we do right now. ;)
I still have a cold/cough which I am hoping will be gone by Monday. I also have an achy pain near my abs, which I've researched to discover is because the belly is stretching and is round ligament pain. I also think the coughing isn't helping it! Other than that, things are still smooth sailing. I had a little bit of a queasy day today, but solved it with some dry toast.
I took a chinese gender predictor test, which said girl, but than Chad thought I did it wrong, so I tried it again and it said boy... so then we went to another site, one time getting boy, and another getting girl! Hmm! We will honestly be happy with EITHER one, we just want a healthy baby! I have no inklings or guesses as to what it is, yet... just my little one! :) So things are still going well. I'm very happy this has been smooth so far and thankful!
